St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular Announces New Physician

St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular is pleased to announce the addition of Denise Janosik, M.D., FACC. Janosik comes to St. John’s Mercy with over 20 years of experience from St. Louis University Hospital where she most recently served as medical director of the cardiovascular risk reduction program. In addition to seeing patients in the office, Janosik will serve as a physician champion for PULSE – St. John’s Mercy women’s heart and vascular program. Through this program she will help educate women and men in the St. Louis area about primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease.

“St. John’s Mercy patients will benefit greatly because of Dr. Janosik’s experience with women’s heart health and cardiovascular disease prevention,” said Virginia Frank, vice president of operations at St. John’s Mercy Health Care. “Having her on our team also provides a great opportunity for St. John’s Mercy to expand and strengthen the community education and outreach we offer today.”

Janosik is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. She also is certified by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners and by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology.

For more information or to make an appointment, patients can call 314-251-1700.

St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular is an 17-physician cardiology group practice with offices in north, south and west St. Louis counties and Franklin County. The group is affiliated with St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur, and St. John’s Mercy Hospital, Washington. St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular Hospital is located on the campus of St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.
