Program Requirements
Thank you for your interest in our Internal Medicine Residency Program here at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Our requirements for our program are as follows:
- We have a cutoff score of 90 and this is for both steps 1 and 2.
- Also, it is not a requirement, but it is preferred, to have at least 6 months of U.S. clinical experience that is outside of an externship/observership.
- You must apply through the ERAS program.
These are our only requirements!
We will sponsor a J1 visa in our program. H1 is sponsored on an individual basis and you must inquire about that if you are invited for an interview. At this time we do not have a specific deadline for applications, but because our program is highly competitive, I would advise you to get it in as early as you can. Our interviews will be conducted over a 3 month span from November through the end of January.
