Dr. Labovitz, a board certified Cardiologist and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography, has served as the medical director of the core echo lab for the past 15 years. He is a founding member and past president of the National Board of Echocardiography and has several hundred publications pertaining to echocardiographic imaging. He provides project oversight, input into study design and performance, and interpretation of echocardiograms.

Nicole Elmore is a Nurse Practitioner with 8 years of Cardiovascular Research experience. She facilitates overall coordination of cardiovascular clinical trials through patient recruitment, managing study medications and study devices in the cardiac catheterization lab, coronary care unit, echocardiography lab, and on an outpatient bases. Nicole manages patient follow up visits through health assessments, health histories, adverse event assessments and monitoring laboratory and other testing results.

Michelle Bierig has more than 10 years of experience performing and analyzing echocardiography. She has been the manager of the core lab for over five years overseeing the operations of core lab research services including analysis, quality measures, education, training, and database oversight. She supervises the performance of all analysis, implements quality measure programs and performs education and training.

Dr. Nash is medical director of clinical echocardiography and has over 15 years of experience in reading and analyzing echocardiography. He will be responsible for secondary independent review.

Claire Donato, RDCS
Technical Study Director

Claire Donato has been credentialed in cardiac sonography with experience in both performing and analyzing echocardiographic images. She has supervisory and technical experience related to echocardiography. She will coordinate the transfer, storage and processing of echocardiographic data and be primarily responsible for site communication.
